This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary directories (mode 0777, recursively) outside the cache root and write a cached page into them. The write is LIMITED: the filename is always 'source.html', so the extension is fixed, and the content is the rendered page buffer rather than attacker-supplied data. PHP files cannot be written and code execution is not possible; the demonstrated impact is cache poisoning and arbitrary directory creation."}],"affected":[{"source":"security@wordfence.com","affectedData":[{"vendor":"10web","product":"10Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"0","lessThanOrEqual":"2.34.5","versionType":"semver","status":"affected"}]}]}],"metrics":{"cvssMetricV31":[{"source":"security@wordfence.com","type":"Secondary","cvssData":{"version":"3.1","vectorString":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N","baseScore":7.5,"baseSeverity":"HIGH","attackVector":"NETWORK","attackComplexity":"LOW","privilegesRequired":"NONE","userInteraction":"NONE","scope":"UNCHANGED","confidentialityImpact":"NONE","integrityImpact":"HIGH","availabilityImpact":"NONE"},"exploitabilityScore":3.9,"impactScore":3.6}],"ssvcV203":[{"source":"134c704f-9b21-4f2e-91b3-4a467353bcc0","ssvcData":{"timestamp":"2026-10-16T14:55:48.533241Z","id":"CVE-2026-103896","options":[{"exploitation":"none"},{"automatable":"yes"},{"technicalImpact":"partial"}],"role":"CISA Coordinator","version":"2.0.3"}}]},"weaknesses":[{"source":"security@wordfence.com","type":"Secondary","description":[{"lang":"en","value":"CWE-22"}]}],"references":[{"url":"https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tenweb-speed-optimizer/tags/2.34.5/includes/WebPageCache/OptimizerWebPageCache.php#L190","source":"security@wordfence.com"},{"url":"https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tenweb-speed-optimizer/tags/2.34.5/includes/WebPageCache/OptimizerWebPageCache.php#L205","source":"security@wordfence.com"},{"url":"https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tenweb-speed-optimizer/tags/2.34.5/includes/WebPageCache/OptimizerWebPageCache.php#L312","source":"security@wordfence.com"},{"url":"https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tenweb-speed-optimizer/tags/2.34.5/includes/WebPageCache/OptimizerWebPageValidations.php#L299","source":"security@wordfence.com"},{"url":"https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tenweb-speed-optimizer/tags/2.34.8","source":"security@wordfence.com"},{"url":"https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/83e672e7-2483-46e9-ae16-a9e7ccc4bcb8?source=cve","source":"security@wordfence.com"}]}}]}
